Description: Alvin and the Chipmunks 2007 tells the story of three energetic chipmunk brothers—Alvin, Simon, and Theodore—whose tree is cut down and transported to Los Angeles as a Christmas tree for JETT Records. There, they encounter Dave Seville, a struggling songwriter whose latest demo is rejected by his former college roommate, Ian Hawke, the company’s CEO. While following Dave home, the Chipmunks convince him to let them stay in exchange for singing his songs.
Despite initial struggles, including stage fright and a ruined presentation that costs Dave his job, the Chipmunks eventually perform for Ian, earning a record deal. Their instant fame leads to international success, but Dave grows concerned about their well-being. Ian, however, manipulates the Chipmunks into believing Dave is holding them back, and they move in with Ian.
Ian exploits the Chipmunks, keeping them busy with constant touring and lavish gifts. Realizing the harm Ian has caused, Dave intervenes to reunite with the Chipmunks and save them from exploitation during a concert at the Orpheum Theatre. The film highlights themes of family, fame, and loyalty as Dave and the Chipmunks navigate their way back to each other.
