Description: The movie “Alludu Adhurs” (2021) follows the story of Sai Sreenivas (Bellamkonda Sreenivas), who experiences heartbreak in his high school romance. As an adult, he transforms into a confident and action-packed individual. Despite vowing to avoid relationships, he falls deeply in love with Kaumudhi (Nabha Natesh), the daughter of a powerful local goon, Patel (Prakash Raj). To win her over, Sreenu devises various strategies, including sneaking into her house. However, he faces tough competition from Gaja (Sonu Sood), who is also pursuing Kaumudhi. This sets off a rivalry between the two men as they compete for her affection.
The film struggles with a lack of originality, as its fight scenes, challenges, and comedic moments feel predictable and uninspired. The humor often feels forced, failing to engage the audience. While the director attempts to incorporate multiple storylines—such as a horror sequence and a flashback—the narrative ultimately leads to a clichéd and poorly executed finale. The music by Devi Sri Prasad does little to enhance the experience.
Despite its flaws, “Alludu Adhurs” boasts impressive visuals and grand production design, with some scenes capturing the audience’s attention. Cinematographer Chota K Naidu deserves recognition for his contribution to the film’s visual appeal.
