**Storyline:**
Two centuries after the events of *Alien 3*, military scientists aboard the spaceship USM Auriga successfully clone Ellen Ripley, now designated Ripley 8. Using DNA from pre-death blood samples, they merge her genetic material with that of the Xenomorph queen, resulting in a hybrid clone that carries an embryo. The embryo is extracted, grown, and used to harvest eggs, while Ripley 8 is kept alive for further research. Due to the Xenomorph DNA, she possesses enhanced strength, reflexes, mildly acidic blood, and a psychic connection to the Xenomorphs. Additionally, she inherits some of Ellen Ripley’s memories through the Xenomorphs’ genetic memory.
A group of mercenaries—Elgyn, Johner, Christie, Vriess, Hillard, and Call—arrive at the Auriga aboard their ship, the Betty. They deliver kidnapped humans in stasis, who are then used as hosts for the Xenomorphs. As the aliens mature, they escape confinement by exploiting their acidic blood, wreaking havoc on the ship.
During the chaos, the mercenaries encounter Ripley 8. Call, recognizing Ripley’s name, attempts to kill her, fearing she might be used to create more Xenomorphs. However, the creatures are already free, having killed several crew members, including General Perez and Elgyn. As the Auriga’s emergency protocol sets a course for Earth, Ripley 8, the mercenaries, and surviving members realize the impending danger of unleashing the Xenomorphs on humanity. Together, they plan to destroy the Auriga using the Betty. Along the way, Ripley 8 discovers horrifying evidence of previous failed cloning attempts.
