**Plot:**
Valmiki and Ramachandra begin their careers as clerks in Ananth “ARK” Radhakrishna’s company. Ramachandra marries ARK’s daughter, Yasu, and becomes wealthy, while Valmiki remains poor. On the day their children are born, Ramachandra’s son appears lifeless. Nurse Sulochana informs Valmiki about the situation, and he offers to exchange his baby with the deceased one out of pity for Ramachandra and Yasu. However, the supposedly dead child begins to cry after the switch.
Sulochana attempts to reverse the exchange, but Valmiki sees an opportunity for his son to have a better life in a wealthy family. He stops her, accidentally causing her to fall off a ledge. Sulochana falls into a coma, and Valmiki suffers a permanent leg injury. The two boys grow up in contrasting environments. Raj, raised in Ramachandra’s household, becomes timid and soft-spoken, while Bantu, raised by Valmiki, grows up smart, hardworking, and outspoken. Valmiki favors Raj and treats Bantu poorly due to his true parentage.
After Valmiki denies Bantu the chance to pursue an MBA, Bantu interviews at a travel company owned by Amulya, a self-made businesswoman. Following a misunderstanding with the HR manager, Shekhar, Bantu secures a job. Over time, Bantu and Amulya develop feelings for each other. During a business trip to Paris, their relationship deepens.
Meanwhile, Raj returns from abroad after quitting his MBA. Ramachandra tasks him with rejecting a lucrative business offer from Paidithalli, the son of a wealthy man. Ramachandra observes Raj’s inability to handle the situation but is impressed by Bantu and Amulya’s confidence in turning down a similar deal with Sudharshanam. On ARK’s suggestion, Raj becomes engaged to Amulya, despite being in love with his cousin, Nandu.
