Description: The 2012 film *About Cherry* explores the life of a troubled young woman who moves to San Francisco and becomes entangled in the world of pornography while forming a connection with a cocaine-addicted lawyer. The story follows Angelina, an 18-year-old on the verge of high school graduation, who is persuaded by her boyfriend, Bobby, to take nude photos for money. Initially hesitant, she eventually agrees and uses the earnings to escape to San Francisco with her best friend, Andrew.
In the city, Angelina attends a strip club party where she meets Francis, a wealthy lawyer who introduces her to a luxurious lifestyle filled with expensive clothes and extravagant parties. She also encounters Margaret, a former porn star turned adult film director, who guides Angelina—now using the stage name “Cherry”—into the San Francisco porn industry.
Angelina begins her career by starring in softcore films but eventually transitions to hardcore pornography. After filming a hardcore scene, Francis confronts her angrily, leading to a car accident. Returning home, Angelina discovers Andrew watching one of her films, resulting in a heated argument. She leaves and meets Margaret at a bar, where their relationship takes a romantic turn. The film concludes with Angelina living with Margaret as her lover and taking on a new role as a porn director.
