Description: A Rough Draft is a 2018 Russian fantasy science fiction thriller that follows Kirill, a talented video game designer from Moscow. One day, Kirill is inexplicably erased from the memories of everyone he knows, including his loved ones. Kirill learns to navigate portals to these parallel realms, which include a steampunk version of Imperial Russia, a post-apocalyptic tropical resort, a dystopian Gulag world, and a highly advanced utopian society. The film, based on Sergey Lukyanenko’s novel of the same name, stars Nikita Volkov as Kirill. The story begins with Kirill’s life unraveling when he returns home to find it occupied by a mysterious woman. Within hours, his existence is erased, leaving him jobless, homeless, and even accused of murder. He receives a cryptic message directing him to a customs office that serves as a gateway to other dimensions, where he is introduced to his new role as an interdimensional guard.
