Description: “Tom and Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale” is a 2007 animated film where the beloved duo embarks on a magical Christmas adventure. The story begins with Jerry and his nephew Tuffy watching a Christmas ballet performance of “The Nutcracker” in New York City. Meanwhile, Tom and a group of cats perform a song for the Cat King near the Empire State Building. The stage transforms into a winter wonderland, and magical toys, including a pony named Nelly, a pixie named Paulie, and a Ballerina from a music box, come to life.
The celebration is interrupted when Tom and the cats crash the feast, capturing the toys. Jerry, Paulie, and Nelly attempt to stop them but are launched out of a cannon. As the Captain of the Cat Guards, Tom imprisons the Ballerina and takes her to the Cat King, who demands she dance for him. Tuffy sneaks the Ballerina a ring of keys to escape while warning Jerry about the cats’ plans. Jerry and his companions follow a star to seek help from the Toy Maker. Along the way, Jerry falls through ice but is saved by Nelly and Paulie, though Paulie begins to unravel due to melting glue.
Tuffy disguises himself as an angel and a devil to distract Tom, but his plan backfires, revealing his identity and causing the cats to fall off a cliff. Tuffy reunites with Jerry to warn him of the approaching cats. Despite the cats’ attack, Jerry and his friends escape into a tree and later find themselves in a fiery underground world filled with lava pits and dragons. A flame fairy helps restore Paulie’s head, and a dragon awakens but is hypnotized by Jerry, who convinces it to carry them out of the pit. The film combines humor, adventure, and holiday magic, showcasing the timeless rivalry between Tom and Jerry.
