Description: A black cat with red stripes lives a double life. At night, it accompanies a burglar named Nico, who calls it Mr. Cat, as they carry out heists to steal jewels. During the day, the cat lives with a young girl named Zoé, who calls it Dino. Zoé, who lost her voice after her father’s death, has grown distant from her mother, Jeanne, a police superintendent. Claudine, a woman who looks after Zoé, helps care for her.
Nico gifts Dino a fish-shaped bracelet, which the cat then gives to Zoé. At the police station, Jeanne informs her team about protecting the Colossus of Nairobi statue, a mission that cost her husband his life at the hands of the infamous Victor Costa. Victor plans to target the statue again during its relocation, aided by his accomplices: Mr. Baby, Mr. Hulot, Mr. Frog, and Mr. Potato.
At home, Jeanne notices the fish-shaped bracelet and shows it to her colleague Lucas, who identifies it as linked to burglaries on Rue Mouffetard. Zoé sneaks out of the house, following Dino, and discovers Victor’s gang. She learns that Claudine is secretly working for Victor, providing him with insider information about the police. Zoé is spotted but is saved by Nico, who takes her to hide at the zoo. However, Victor’s gang tracks them down, though Zoé manages to escape by boat.
Lucas traces the burglaries to Nico’s residence. When Nico returns and finds Zoé there, Jeanne and Lucas arrest him, believing he kidnapped her. Jeanne leaves Zoé with Claudine and heads off with Lucas to confront Victor. Unable to convince them of Zoé’s danger, Nico escapes to find her. Jeanne eventually confirms Nico’s claims, realizing the true threat to her daughter.
