**Storyline:**
In 2017, Lou, Trish, Maura, and Betty, four lifelong friends, are passionate fans of the New England Patriots, especially their star quarterback Tom Brady. Their fandom began in 2001 while celebrating Lou’s successful chemotherapy treatment. Fifteen years later, the group cheers for the Patriots’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game and plans a Super Bowl LI watch party. Lou suggests attending the Super Bowl in person, but the others hesitate due to the high cost.
When a local sports radio show launches a contest offering free Super Bowl tickets, the friends enter by sharing their Patriots fandom stories. To their delight, Lou later reveals they’ve won the tickets, and the group prepares for their trip to Houston. They even sneak Maura out of her retirement home with the help of her friend Mickey.
Upon arriving in Houston, the friends enjoy the NFL Experience, where Betty wins a chicken wing eating contest hosted by Guy Fieri but loses her fanny pack containing the tickets. Meanwhile, Trish meets former NFL player Dan O’Callahan, and sparks fly despite her reservations about her romantic history.
Dan invites Trish and her friends to a party, which they attend after learning about the lost tickets, hoping to reconnect with Fieri. At the party, the women consume cannabis edibles, leading to hilarious disorientation. Maura participates in a celebrity poker game, winning several hands in hopes of buying new tickets, only to discover the game is for charity.
