Description: Bodhidharma, a skilled martial artist and healer, is the son of a prominent Tamil king from the Pallava dynasty. His guru sends him to China to prevent a pandemic from spreading to India. Initially mistreated by the Chinese, Bodhidharma gains their respect after curing a young girl of the deadly disease and defending villagers from mistreatment. He teaches them medical remedies, hypnotism, and physical training, which later shapes the foundation of Shaolinquan. After years of service, Bodhidharma wishes to return to India, but the villagers, believing his burial would keep their land disease-free, poison him. Bodhidharma consents, and he becomes a revered figure in Chinese history, known as “Damo.”
In modern-day China, Dong Lee is assigned to initiate a biological war against India, titled Operation Red. He travels to Chennai and infects a street dog with the same disease from Bodhidharma’s era. Meanwhile, Subha Srinivasan, a genetics student, discovers that Bodhidharma’s DNA can be revived if matched with a descendant. She identifies Aravind, a circus artist and Bodhidharma’s descendant, as the key to her research. Lee learns of Subha’s mission to resurrect Bodhidharma and plots to eliminate her to ensure the disease cannot be stopped.
Subha approaches Aravind and gradually develops feelings for him, losing focus on her mission. Later, Aravind’s family recalls her initial visit a year prior, when she sought information about him for her Bodhidharma research.
