Description: Robert “Bobby” Trench and Michael “Stig” Stigman are interrogated by the US Border Patrol after meeting with drug lord Manny “Papi” Greco in Mexico. Unbeknownst to Stig, Bobby is an undercover DEA agent who reports to his superior, Jessup, that he failed to obtain the cocaine needed to convict Papi. Disobeying orders, Bobby stays undercover to help Stig rob $3 million from a bank vault in Tres Cruces, Texas, aiming to prosecute Papi for money laundering. Bobby meets his ex and fellow DEA agent, Deb Rees, while Stig, an undercover Navy SEAL, learns from his commanding officer, LCDR Harold Quince, to kill Bobby and fund covert operations.
During the heist, Bobby and Stig are shocked to discover $43.125 million instead of $3 million. Stig betrays Bobby, shooting him in the arm after seeing his DEA badge, and leaves him in the desert. Quince later orders Stig to eliminate Bobby, but Stig escapes after discovering the money is destined for a Navy base in Corpus Christi. Meanwhile, a man named Earl interrogates the bank manager and the vet who treated Bobby’s wound. Bobby tracks down Stig, but they are ambushed by Quince’s hit squad. After escaping, Bobby tries to inform Jessup, only to find Earl and his men waiting. Earl kills Jessup, frames Bobby, and offers to clear his name if he retrieves the $43 million.
